WP 301 Redirects PRO for WordPress URL Management
WP 301 Redirects PRO is the paid edition of 301 Redirects - Redirect Manager. It helps route users when a redesign or content reorganization changes URLs, or when a page is no longer available. A redirect sends visitors from a requested URL to a destination URL. A 301 indicates that the page has moved permanently and helps search engines associate the old URL with its destination. The redirect system also supports 302 and 307 redirects.

Set URL rules and destinations
Wildcard and regular expression matching let one rule cover a group of related URLs. PRO also includes automatic typo fixing in URLs. Choose a WordPress page, post, custom post type, archive, or term archive from a dropdown, or enter a custom destination URL.
Query strings can be retained across redirects, including tracking codes, affiliate codes, and other data. PRO adds settings to ignore, add, or remove query strings, giving you control over which parameters reach the destination.
Review activity across websites
The complete redirect and 404 logs help you review activity and find links that may need attention. The 404 log entries the event timestamp, opened URL, and user-agent string; it does not collect user IP addresses. A link scanner helps locate links to review, while simple redirect statistics display how often each redirection is used. A centralized SaaS dashboard lets you monitor redirects across multiple sites.
Bulk utilities and compatibility
Import and export tools support bulk redirect management. The plugin is compatible with translation extensions that use language prefixes in URLs, including Weglot, TranslatePress, Gtranslate, and Loco Translate.
Setup and requirements
Install and activate the plugin in WordPress, then open WP Admin > Settings > 301 Redirects. Add a requested URL and destination, select the redirect type, and save the rule. The 404 log widget is under WP Admin > Dashboard > 404 Error Log. The plugin requires a permalink structure other than WordPress's default. Redirects run within WordPress; if an older .html or .php file still exists on the server, delete it for the plugin to handle that path, or configure a server-level redirect.
