Coming soon and Maintenance mode Pro: Design the visitor page

When maintenance mode is active, logged-out users see the temporary page while logged-in visitors can access the site. Coming soon and Maintenance mode Pro includes controls for the page’s appearance, countdown, subscriptions, and visibility.

Choose a background and arrange the page

Set a background color or picture, use an image slider, or choose a YouTube video background. YouTube backgrounds are unavailable on mobile devices. Enter the video ID in its field rather than the full video URL, then choose whether to mute or unmute the video.

Upload a logo and set its position, top spacing, and maximum dimensions. Position the title and message, and adjust title color, font, size, and spacing. Place the content area in one of nine positions across the left, center, or right and top, middle, or bottom. Set its background color, transparency, border radius, maximum width, padding, and margin. The add-on also includes 31 fonts for the title, countdown, admin link, and subscription form text.

Set countdown and progress behavior

Choose a button, circle, or vertical slider countdown. Adjust its position, top spacing, colors, border radius, size, border width, font size, and font family. You can conceal the countdown or disable the under-construction page when the countdown expires.

Add a progress bar with a selected percentage. Set its width, position, top spacing, loading color, border color, border width, and border radius. Pro includes 39 animation effects for page elements, with a setting for animation waiting time.

Customize subscriptions and social buttons

The subscription form lets you edit field labels, button text, and the messages shown for successful, existing, blank, or invalid email submissions. Adjust its position, spacing, fonts, input border and radius, placeholder and text colors, and button colors. Pro can send email notifications to subscribed users. The Subscribers page lets you view, copy, and remove email addresses, and send a message to all subscribed users.

Add social links and upload your own button pictures. Set their position, dimensions, top spacing, and distance between buttons; social sites can open in a new window. You can also add a favicon and tailor the admin link’s text, position, and appearance.

Control page visibility

Exclude specific pages and posts from the maintenance display, or disable the add-on for specific IP addresses.

Install the plugin

In the WordPress administration area, open Plugins, choose Add New, then Upload Plugin. Select the plugin ZIP file without extracting it, install and activate the plugin, and open its settings. Choose a background type, enter a YouTube video ID if needed, then configure the page elements, countdown, subscription form, and visibility settings.
