Choose what happens after submission
- Redirect visitors to a URL you select.
- Open the destination in a new browser tab.
- Run JavaScript after submission, including scripts used for conversion management.
- Pass selected form fields to the destination as URL query parameters.
These settings can guide users from a contact, enquiry, or registration form to a thank-you page or another relevant destination. Query parameters can make selected submitted values available to the next page.
DOM events and normal form behavior
Contact Form 7 removed the on_sent_ok and on_submit additional options in version 5.0. This add-on uses DOM events for post-submission actions instead. It does not disable Contact Form 7’s AJAX behavior, so the form can continue using its normal submission process.
Configure a form
- Install and activate the add-on alongside Contact Form 7.
- Open the settings for the form you want to configure and choose the Redirect Settings tab.
- Choose the page or URL to use after mail is sent successfully.
- Set whether the destination opens in a new tab, add any JavaScript action, and select the fields to pass as URL query parameters.
- Save the form settings and test a submission.
