USPS WooCommerce Live Rates PRO: Rates with Custom Box Packing

USPS WooCommerce Live Rates PRO connects a WooCommerce shop to the current USPS API platform. After you enter your USPS credentials and configure the shipping method, it calculates rates using product weight, shop location and delivery destination. Customers can view available USPS options in the cart and at checkout. USPS Commercial Pricing is supported.

Domestic and international services

Domestic options include First-Class Mail, First-Class Package Service, Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express, Standard Post, Media Mail, Library Mail and Ground Return Service. International options include First-Class Mail, First-Class Package International Service, Priority Mail International, Priority Mail Express International and Global Express Guaranteed.

You can show services available for the customer’s address or choose manually which USPS services appear.

PRO packing and rate options

For orders with multiple products, automatic box packing considers product weight and volume. You can define custom boxes by size, weight and padding to reflect your store’s packaging.

Rate adjustments include fixed or percentage handling fees and discounts. The settings also include a fixed fallback amount for cases where USPS returns no rates, free shipping above an amount threshold, shipment insurance and a debug mode for troubleshooting.

Origin, currency and shipping rules

Custom origin lets you use a shipper address various from the default address in WooCommerce settings. Multi-currency support is included. The add-on also works with Flexible Shipping, so USPS live rates can be used alongside condition-based shipping costs.

Setup and support

Install the plugin, enter your USPS credentials and configure the shipping method. Choose the domestic or international services to offer, then set packing rules, custom boxes, rate adjustments, origin and currency as needed. Review the available rates in the cart and checkout, and use debug mode to troubleshoot rate responses. The PRO edition includes advanced capabilities and priority email support.
