Persistent Login Premium: WordPress Session Management

Persistent Login Premium gives WordPress website administrators control over how long visitors stay signed in, how simultaneous logins are handled, and what account activity users can review. For membership sites, client areas, and communities, these options can reduce repeated sign-ins while keeping session controls available to users and administrators.

Who stays signed in, and for how long?

Choose which visitor roles receive persistent login and set the login duration for up to 400 days. You can conceal the Remember Me checkbox so users are always remembered. These settings let sites apply remembered-login rules to the roles that need them.

What happens when a user reaches the login limit?

Choose which roles have active login limits and set the number of simultaneous logins allowed. When a user reaches that limit, the plugin can automatically end the oldest login, let the user select which session to end, or block the new login. Each option determines whether an existing session closes, the user selects one, or the new session is refused.

How can users and administrators review sessions?

Users can view and manage their sessions through Block Editor blocks or shortcodes. Administrators can end any user's session from the admin area. These controls give users a way to review their own logins while letting administrators close a session when needed.

What account activity can users review?

Users can view login history on the front end through Block Editor blocks or shortcodes. Administrators can personalize the email message sent when a user logs in from a new device, and configure inactivity emails to notify users after a period without logging in. Priority support is available from within the WordPress admin area.

Configure the plugin

Install and activate Persistent Login Premium, then open its settings in the WordPress admin area. Set persistent-login roles and duration, configure active login limits and their response, and adjust notification settings. Add session-management or login-history blocks or shortcodes where users should see them.
