Gallery Pro for WordPress Image Galleries

Gallery Pro is the paid edition of Gallery by BestWebSoft for presenting picture collections in WordPress. It includes the gallery, album, image, and category capabilities, with images added from the WordPress media library. Galleries adapt to various devices, and the setup does not require coding.

Choose layouts and arrange collections

Albums can use Columns or Rows. Gallery Pro includes Grid and Masonry layouts for galleries. Set image text to appear below an image or on mouse hover, then choose how the images and galleries are ordered.

• Sort images by attachment ID, image name, date, gallery order, or randomly. Set ascending or descending order.
• Sort galleries by gallery ID, title, date, last modified date, comment count, author, or randomly. Galleries can also be sorted within categories.

Configure lightboxes and image display

Set the lightbox image size, background color, and transparency. Optional buttons and thumbnails can appear in the lightbox. Add descriptions and buttons with URLs, choose whether external links open in the same or a new window, and enable pagination for a single gallery.

Gallery Pro also offers horizontal and vertical crop position controls, image optimization, and watermarks made from text or an image. Set custom border width and color, display a full-size slideshow, and add descriptions to albums. The add-on works with any image file format.

Manage engagement and website options

Add Social Like buttons for Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest, and enable comments on gallery pages. Set galleries individually or use global settings, customize the gallery entry slug, and configure the extension for a multisite network.

The included widgets provide more ways to navigate collections. The Latest Galleries widget has customizable title and button text, a button link, a display count, and a hover color effect. The gallery categories widget can display categories as a dropdown, with gallery counts and hierarchy. Demo data can be installed or deleted, and the plugin can integrate with the Slider Plugin.

Create a gallery in WordPress

1. Install Gallery Pro and activate it from the WordPress Plugins menu.
2. Open Galleries, choose Add New, and add images using Add Media.
3. Save the gallery, then choose its layout, image order, and display settings.
4. Adjust shared options under Gallery > Global Settings, or configure an individual gallery.
