Admin Login URL Change Pro: Custom Login and Access Controls
Admin Login URL Change Pro lets you assign a custom slug to the WordPress login form. It intercepts page requests without changing core documents. A less familiar address can reduce exposure to automated attempts aimed at the default login URLs.

Choose access rules for different situations
Use IP blocking to restrict specific addresses or CIDR ranges. Auto-ban thresholds, ban durations, and email alerts are configurable. For broader geographic restrictions, the searchable country blocker uses a live database covering more than 200 global regions.
When repeated attempts are a concern, set the maximum retries, retry window, lockout duration, and warning alerts. These settings define how the plugin handles successive login attempts.
Add verification and review login activity
Two-factor authentication includes a verification step after the primary login details. Users can verify with an authenticator app, including Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator, or use Email OTP.
Email alerts report successful and failed logins with the IP address, username, and timestamp. The login audit log entries expanded login history, including user-agent details, with up to 500 entries.
Compatibility and setup
The plugin is described as compatible with native WordPress login flows and WooCommerce checkouts and account logins. Basic setup does not require coding skills. From the WordPress dashboard, open the Admin Login Slug menu, enter a custom slug such as madmin, and select Save Settings. Bookmark and test the new login address, then configure the Pro controls you need. Keep the address available to authorized visitors who need to sign in.
