Address Book Pro for WooCommerce

Address Book Pro for WooCommerce connects customer address books with checkout and order administration. Customers can save multiple billing and shipping addresses, choose a saved entry during Classic WooCommerce checkout, add an address while checking out, or update saved entries in My Account.

Customer address book settings

Configure the address book under WooCommerce > Settings > Address Book. Settings can enable billing and shipping address books, make Add New Address the default selection, allow address nicknames during checkout, and limit the number of billing addresses each user can save. Import and export can also be enabled or disabled; clients can use those functions when they are enabled.

Saved addresses in shop administration

When adding an order in the WooCommerce administration area, administrators can select an address from the customer's saved address book. Administrators can also manage that address book from the customer's user profile.

Checkout compatibility and delivery limits

The plugin supports the Classic WooCommerce checkout. WooCommerce Block Checkout is not currently supported. Customers can store multiple shipping addresses, but a single order cannot be sent to multiple locations. They should place separate orders for deliveries to various destinations.

Address fields and custom data

The add-on uses standard WooCommerce address functions, so standard methods for modifying address fields continue to apply. The plugin has been tested with standard filters and WooCommerce Checkout Field Editor. Most standard custom fields work. Fields added by another plugin and updated through JavaScript may not always be handled correctly; if a field does not populate as expected, review its implementation and compatibility with the other plugin.

Setup

Install Address Book Pro for WooCommerce on a website using Classic checkout, then open WooCommerce > Settings > Address Book. Enable the billing and shipping address books and configure the address settings, limits, and import and export preferences for the store.
