Keep materials ready for work across websites

Assistant is a standalone WordPress add-on for common tasks from the front end, and Beaver Builder is not required. Assistant Pro adds cloud storage and libraries for templates and other materials teams want to organize, reuse, or move between WordPress websites. Libraries are accessible from anywhere and can support collaboration across content, styling, and website delivery, including staging and production workflows.

Items supported by cloud libraries

Libraries can hold media, posts, pages, templates made with the Block Editor or a page builder, and WooCommerce products, coupons, and orders. A team can prepare shared materials in one place before using them on a particular website.

  • Store templates created with the Block Editor or a page builder in the cloud.
  • Organize media, content, templates, and the listed WooCommerce items.
  • Keep reusable materials available for design and publishing work across sites.

Editors and front-end utilities

Assistant works with the Block Editor and common WordPress page builders, including Gutenberg, Beaver Builder, Elementor, Divi, and Visual Composer. Its front-end interface also offers access to posts, pages, and archives; recently edited posts; WordPress search; and search across posts, pages, and custom post types.

From the front end, customers can drop files into the Media app to upload them, monitor comments and theme or add-on updates, and add custom labels to posts or pages. These core tools provide the working environment around Assistant Pro's cloud libraries.

Using Assistant Pro between environments

For a team preparing a design or content change on a staging site, cloud libraries can keep templates and other supported materials available as work moves toward production. They also provide a shared place to organize items intended for reuse across projects.

  1. Install Assistant on a WordPress site.
  2. Use the standalone plugin from the WordPress front end; Beaver Builder is not required.
  3. Connect the workflow to Assistant Pro for cloud storage, libraries, and moving templates and assets between sites.
  4. Organize supported items in libraries and use them in the site workflow.

Assistant can be used with WordPress 5.0 or newer. Assistant Pro extends its front-end productivity tools with cloud-based organization and workflows for moving assets between sites.
