Consent controls and their scope
The consent banner works with opt-in, opt-out, and notification-only modes, plus Google Consent Mode v2 Advanced and Microsoft UET Consent Mode. It can record proof of consent, block third-party scripts until consent, and replace tracking iframes with placeholders. WP Full Picture handles tools installed through its integrations and can control loading for some tools installed by other plugins.
The page scanner identifies potential tracking scripts and HTML elements for review; it scans for tracking elements rather than cookies. The plugin does not generate cookie lists or cookie descriptions for privacy policy pages. It does not support the IAB TCF framework and is not suitable for websites that show ads. Its consent tools help with part of privacy setup, but do not ensure compliance with every applicable regulation.
Integrations and data flow
Ready-to-use integrations include Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Pinterest Ads, Hotjar, Twitter/X, Microsoft Advertising, Microsoft Clarity, LinkedIn Insights Tag, TikTok Pixel, Plausible Analytics, Matomo, Inspectlet, and Crazy Egg. PostHog and Simple Analytics are available for installation. Custom Integrations and Google Tag Manager support additional tracking tools. The consent system manages tools installed through these modules, and tracking events and page data can be sent to the Google Tag Manager dataLayer.
Visitor and shop events
Track clicks on affiliate links, contact links, buttons, and other page elements, along with form submissions, popup and ad views, pricing-table views, page types, categories, tags, visitor roles, and user statuses. WooCommerce event tracking covers product views and list views, cart additions, checkout starts, completed purchases, and coupon use across 14 tracking tools. Events include product details for conversion measurement and advertising.
Pro adds server-side tracking with Meta CAPI and Measurement Protocol, status-based order tracking, enhanced conversions, and advanced matching. It also includes an event builder, engagement tracking, reactions that respond to visitor behavior and page or traffic information, geolocation, metadata tracking, and JavaScript error tracking. Google Tag Gateway through Cloudflare is also included.
Setup tools and reports
The setup helper can display whether tracking tools are working, help configure tracking for custom post metadata and user data, and enable debug or test modes for Google Analytics and Meta Pixel. Analytics dashboards from Google Looker Studio, Databox, and other business intelligence platforms can be embedded in the WordPress admin.
Plugin files load asynchronously, and the add-on is modular. It has been tested with Gutenberg, Elementor, Bricks, and Breakdance. Bricks requires one adjustment to track interactions with WooCommerce product lists.
Installation sequence
- Install and activate WP Full Picture Pro in WordPress.
- Choose the tracking integrations your site needs.
- Configure the consent banner and related options.
- Set up WooCommerce events, advanced tracking, or Google Tag Manager as needed.
- Review connected reports and tracking data in the WordPress admin.
