WP Hide Show Featured Image Pro

WP Hide Show Featured Image Pro gives WordPress administrators control over where featured pictures appear and who sees the front-end admin toolbar. Image settings cover desktop and mobile, individual posts and pages, and custom post types.

Image visibility settings

Choose whether featured images appear on desktop or mobile. Set visibility for an individual post or page when its image needs various treatment, and use the same controls with custom post types.

Toolbar settings

Hide the front-end admin toolbar for specific visitor roles. You can also remove the WordPress logo and the “Howdy” greeting from the admin bar. The Pro feature list includes priority support and regular feature updates.

Theme compatibility

The plugin works best with themes that use standard WordPress functions to display featured images. A theme that uses a custom display method may not respond as expected. The add-on is currently incompatible with Image widgets in Elementor, Divi Builder, WPBakery, and similar page builders when those widgets dynamically display the featured image.

Installation and setup

1. If WP Hide Show Featured Image's free version is installed, deactivate and delete it before installing Pro.
2. Install and activate the Pro plugin through WordPress.
3. Open the plugin settings and configure image visibility and toolbar options for your website.
4. Check representative posts, pages, custom post types, and device views to confirm the results with your theme.
