Apply alt text rules across WordPress content
Bialty Pro includes alt text to images in frontend HTML as WordPress renders a page. Pro extends rule-based coverage to custom post types and WooCommerce, including product pages, galleries, and related product areas.
Choose what supplies the text
Set rules using context already stored in WordPress. Depending on the configuration, Bialty Pro can fill a missing alt attribute or replace an existing frontend value.
- Focus keywords from Yoast SEO or Rank Math
- Target keywords from SEOPress
- Primary keyphrases from All in One SEO (AIOSEO)
- Post or product titles
- Cleaned image filenames
- Combinations, such as a keyword and title
- Manual overrides for posts, pages, or products
Titles and cleaned filenames are available as sources even when no supported SEO plugin is active. Product-level overrides let you set more specific wording where a general rule does not fit the image.
Set coverage and exclusions
Pro adds broader rule combinations, an option to include the website title, and blacklist or exclusion controls. Configure custom post types and WooCommerce coverage for product pages, galleries, and related products. Header, footer, sidebar, and widget images are outside the default processing scope.
Check the rendered result
The selected rule runs when a frontend page is rendered. Bialty Pro does not save generated text to the database or change Media Library metadata. To confirm a rule is working, open the published page, clear any active cache, and inspect the image element's alt attribute in the rendered HTML. An empty or unchanged Media Library field is expected. Disabling the plugin removes its injected frontend values.
The plugin uses local WordPress context. It does not visually analyze images, create computer-vision captions, execute bulk rewrite jobs, or call an external API. Manually review images that need wording specific to their subject or accessibility context.
Use a supported rendering flow
Bialty Pro works through the standard WordPress frontend rendering pipeline. Documented editors and builders include Gutenberg, Classic Editor with TinyMCE, Elementor, and SiteOrigin Page Builder. Images may be unaffected when a theme, widget, builder, or template bypasses that flow. Beaver Builder edit mode is disabled to avoid conflicts.
Configure and verify
- Install and activate Bialty Pro.
- Select the post types to cover and select rules for missing or existing alt text.
- Set WooCommerce, custom post type, exclusion, and manual override settings as needed.
- Save the options, then inspect a published page's rendered HTML to check the alt attribute.
