Advanced Custom Stock Status PRO extends WooCommerce stock messages with configurable labels and controls for products, categories, and quantity-based statuses. Choose colors for status text and manage messages for product details and shop listings.

Set statuses across products and categories

Use the default availability labels or create custom stock statuses. Settings can be applied globally or to individual products, and category-level options let product groups use various stock wording. Quantity-based statuses display availability according to product quantity.

Choose where clients see stock information

Custom messages can appear on product pages and in shop listings, including listings for grouped products. The add-on also works with the WooCommerce product collection block, cart and checkout pages, and order emails. Options let you hide the out-of-stock sad face and show or hide a “Stock Status” tag before custom text in order emails. Backorder status can also appear in order confirmation messaging.

Shortcodes can add a learn-more link after a stock status, show the custom stock status, or show a delivery date. The delivery-date shortcode accepts a number of days and excluded days, such as weekends.

Compatibility and setup

The listed integrations include WooCommerce Product Bundles, WPC Composite Products for WooCommerce, AutomateWoo, block-based cart and checkout pages, OceanWP, YITH WooCommerce Wishlist, WP All Import, Yoast SEO, Polylang, PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce, and Force Sell by BeRocket PRO. WPML compatibility is included with PRO. The plugin also has an option to disable Yoast SEO compatibility and can display stock status on invoices.

Configure stock messages in WooCommerce > Settings > Custom Stock. Set the status text and colors, then review the options for simple products, variations, categories, and quantity rules before checking how messages appear in the store.

The plugin listing warns that it has not been tested with the latest three major WordPress releases. It may no longer be maintained or supported, and may have compatibility issues with newer WordPress versions.
