Choose maps for your WordPress content
WP Open Street Map Pro makes maps with OpenStreetMap for WordPress. Add map content to a page or post when visitors need geographic context about the places discussed.
The paid Pro edition is described as offering more options than the standard plugin. The supplied product details do not specify those options, so the distinction is the additional choices available in Pro.
Plan for a website or network
The plugin is compatible with WordPress multisite installations. For a single site, prepare maps for the pages or posts that need them. In a multisite setup, plan map content for the relevant sites in the network.
Set up map content
Install the plugin in the intended WordPress environment, including a compatible multisite installation if needed. Then use the plugin’s settings and map functionality to make OpenStreetMap content and place it on the relevant site pages.
This keeps map creation within the WordPress publishing process. Consider the standard plugin for its mapping functionality, or pick Pro when its additional options are useful to the project.
