Build picture galleries in Gutenberg

Galleryberg Pro adds layout and display controls to the Galleryberg Gallery block in the WordPress editor. Use it for portfolios, product shows, travel photos, photography projects, or blog pictures. Add the block to a post or page, choose images from Upload or the Media Library, then adjust the gallery in its settings.

Choose a layout for your images

Tiles arranges images in an evenly spaced grid. Square gives them uniform shapes, Masonry makes a cascading arrangement, and Justified forms balanced rows with equal heights. Pro adds Mosaic, a collage-style layout.

Set between one and eight columns, with separate counts for mobile, tablet, and desktop. Spacing and alignment controls help you adjust the presentation for each screen size.

Set lightbox and caption behavior

Built-in GLightbox opens images in a responsive lightbox with zoom and fade animations, keyboard navigation, touch and swipe support, image zoom with drag controls, and loop navigation. Pro adds thumbnail navigation. You can disable the lightbox in the block settings.

Captions can appear below an image, as a full overlay, or as a bar overlay. Choose whether they stay visible, appear on hover, or hide on hover, then set their alignment.

Style images and gallery details

Adjust images individually with borders, rounded corners, cropping, aspect ratios, custom image sizes, duotone filters, and custom link destinations. Gallery settings include spacing, padding, margins, border width, color and radius, plus separate image radius settings and caption text and background colors.

Add and configure a gallery

Install the add-on and add the Galleryberg Gallery block to a post or page. Choose images with Upload or the Media Library, choose a layout, then set device columns, spacing, captions, and lightbox behavior in the block settings.

The extension uses server-side rendering and is designed to load quickly across devices, including with large images. Keyboard navigation supports accessibility and usability. Galleryberg states that it does not collect or shop personal data; images, captions, and settings remain inside your WordPress site.
