PiWeb Disable payment method / Partial payment for WooCommerce PRO lets WooCommerce stores set payment settings and charges according to checkout conditions. Create unlimited rules to hide or disable gateways, apply fees, and manage cash on delivery (COD) and partial payments.
Set payment availability by checkout conditions
Payment rules can use products, categories, shipping methods, shipping zones or classes, minimum subtotal, cart total, item quantity, backordered products, coupon codes, and day of the week. Customer conditions include email address, selected users, visitor or customer role, currency, and days since registration. Billing and shipping conditions can use country, state, city, or postcode.
Hide methods for selected users and provide a reason when a payment option is unavailable. For example, a rule can disable COD when a customer selects a various shipping address, hide PayPal when the billing country is not the United States, or restrict Stripe when the billing state is not New York.
Apply fees when a payment method is selected
Create unlimited payment-fee rules for selected gateways. Examples include COD fees based on country, zone, or postcode; fees for specific users or roles; product-specific gateway fees; and percentage-based credit card processing fees. Fees can also depend on the order total or currency.
Set deposit amounts and COD conditions
Customers can pay part of an order upfront and pay the balance on delivery. If they select, they may pay the remaining amount before delivery. Set the partial amount as a fixed value, a percentage of the order subtotal, or a percentage of the shipping charge. PRO works with unlimited partial-payment rules, including conditions based on currency, country, state, postcode, or shipping zone. Conditional COD rules show the option only when their conditions are met.
Products can be excluded in either of two ways: withhold the partial-payment option when an excluded product is in the cart, or let the customer pay the full amount for that product while paying part of the amount for other products. A partially paid or COD deposit order uses the “Partially Paid” order status.
Prepare and check checkout rules
You can blacklist email addresses or IP addresses so those users cannot place orders. To set up the add-on, install and activate it in your WooCommerce shop, then make payment, fee, partial-payment, or COD rules. Test the conditions with representative carts and customer details before using them for live orders.
The free and PRO versions are HPOS compatible. Partial payments do not support the WooCommerce Checkout Block; the checkout page must use the classic [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode.
