WordPress plugin
Permalink Manager Pro for Custom WordPress URLs
Permalink Manager Pro gives you control over URLs for posts, pages, custom post types, and taxonomies. Edit an entry’s permalink directly or define a reusable format in Permastructures. Formats can apply automatically to new posts or terms. Regenerate existing permalinks after changing a format to apply it to them.
Set individual permalinks or reusable formats

Choose which post types and taxonomies to manage, leaving the rest out of the add-on’s URL controls. The add-on works with custom content structures managed with ACF, Pods, JetEngine, Toolset Types, and other add-ons. Formats can include custom field values without requiring custom code.
Customize taxonomy, product, and hierarchical URLs
Pro lets you edit category, tag, and custom taxonomy term permalinks individually or change their formats in bulk through Permastructures. For WooCommerce products, tags, categories, and attributes, you can customize URL paths, remove segments such as /product/ and /product-category/, or add SKUs to product permalinks.
You can remove base slugs from custom post type and taxonomy URLs, keep or remove parent slugs in hierarchical paths, and add categories to post or custom post type URLs. Category-based formats can use the primary category set in a supported SEO plugin.
Set language-specific paths and redirects
With WPML or Polylang active, translate slugs and set a separate Permastructure for each language. When URLs change, the plugin redirects old and duplicate URLs to the canonical address. You can also create aliases for posts, pages, or terms, and set a redirect URL that sends users to an external address.
The REST API can read and update custom permalinks and redirects. The plugin is compatible with WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, WPML, and Polylang.
Configure URL controls and understand their scope
After installation, review the Permastructures settings, choose the post types and taxonomies to manage, then adjust individual permalinks or term structures. For multilingual URLs, configure the WPML or Polylang integration. The plugin is optimized for standard WordPress websites that typically have fewer than a few thousand URLs. It stores custom permalinks in a single database row and processes URLs with one database query.
If you disable the plugin after using custom permalinks that differ from native WordPress URLs, those custom paths will no longer be used. Removing the plugin is possible when it was used only to regenerate native post names.
