Currency selection and location
Customers can select a currency using a currency bar, price switcher, or shortcode. CURCY can detect a customer’s country from their IP address and show the currency configured for that country. Choose WooCommerce geolocation or an external service; the latter uses IP2Location and requires an API key. Stores can also show the default price alongside an approximate price in the customer’s native currency.
Exchange rates and product prices
Administrators can enter exchange rates manually or schedule updates at intervals from 30 minutes to one month. Available rate sources include VillaTheme, Google Finance, and Yahoo Finance. Add a permanent exchange fee, set a custom currency symbol, and conceal currencies from the storefront. CURCY can email an administrator when rates update.
Fixed prices let a store set specific product prices for different currencies. They replace prices calculated from exchange rates, which can help when a regional price should stay at a chosen amount. Bulk fixed pricing can import prices for each currency from a CSV file.
Checkout and language options
The selected currency can be saved with a session instead of cookies. Administrators can require a specific currency at checkout after a customer selects “Place order.” When product and checkout prices use different currencies, the multiple-currency display option can show the relevant values together. Price-format rules can adjust displayed amounts, such as changing $9.87 to $9.99. JavaScript currency switching avoids adding the selected currency as a URL tag.
Assign payment methods to currencies; other methods are hidden at checkout. Currency can follow a customer’s billing or shipping country, and multilingual stores can assign currencies to languages supported through WPML or Polylang.
Configuration and conditional display
Configure currencies, rate updates, display options, and customer detection, then place a currency bar, switcher, or shortcode where clients need it. Review product pages, the cart, and checkout to confirm that prices and payment methods follow the selected rules. Conditional display rules accept allowlisted WordPress and WooCommerce is_*() tags only. Use tags supplied by a trusted developer.
Each purchase includes either 6 or 12 months of premium support, depending on the purchase.
