Accept orders before collecting payment
Place Order Without Payment for WooCommerce Pro works with B2B and wholesale sales, quote requests, and manual or offline payment workflows. Customers submit orders through the standard WooCommerce order flow, then the store can review details, confirm pricing, issue an invoice, or arrange payment later.
Choose where pay-later checkout applies
Set rules by product, category, or visitor role to control which orders can be placed without immediate payment. The add-on can remove the payment section from checkout. Optional direct checkout skips the cart for a focused order form.
Offer an order or a quote request
Choose custom “Request Quote” and “Place Order” experiences. The quote option lets clients submit orders as quote requests without payment, which can support bulk-order enquiries and wholesale purchasing while the store confirms pricing or other details.
Follow up on pending payments
- Send automatic email reminders for pending payments.
- Customize email templates to match the store’s brand.
- Add direct “Pay for Order” links for later payment.
- Remove unnecessary checkout elements.
These settings connect order submission with the store’s next step, whether that is a reminder or a direct payment link.
Configure order status and checkout
Orders are marked “Processing” by default, and the status can be changed in the add-on options. To get started, install and activate the plugin, adjust its order, checkout, and status settings, then configure pay-later rules for the relevant products, categories, or user roles. Choose the Request Quote or Place Order experience, and set up reminders, branded email templates, and Pay for Order links as needed.
If checkout shows a no-payment-method error, check that the checkout page contains the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode and that at least one payment method, such as Cash on Delivery, is enabled.
