WP All Import Pro: Map WooCommerce Product Data
WP All Import Pro works with the WooCommerce add-on to bring product data into a shop. Source files can use different layouts, so CSV files do not need fixed column names and XML data can have complex structures.

Choose how to provide the data
Upload XML, CSV, or Excel files. Excel columns are detected automatically. For Google Sheets, provide a public sheet URL through the Download a file option. URL imports can retrieve data from external websites protected by HTTP authentication, and product feeds can also use FTP or SFTP. If special characters cause trouble in a CSV import, UTF-8 encoding is recommended; you can edit column names when needed.
Map product data and variants
The import screen shows WooCommerce fields beside a table of source data. Drag incoming values to the fields they belong in, then execute the import and review the products. The add-on includes mapping for pictures, attributes, categories, tags, and other taxonomies. Use the Attributes tab to connect incoming attribute values to product attribute fields.
The Pro edition supports external or affiliate products, grouped products, and variable products. Variations can be imported from properly formatted XML, and the WooCommerce Products process can add new variations to existing variable products.
Keep catalog data current
With cron jobs or recurring imports, WP All Import Pro can check a file for changes and add, edit, or delete imported products, as well as update their stock status. Large files are split into chunks; the product documentation describes importing catalogs larger than 200 MB, including on shared hosting.
The Pro edition can also run custom PHP functions on imported data. A value from an XML field can be passed to a function in the import template, and the function’s return value can be used in the mapped data.
Run an import
- Go to All Import > New Import.
- Upload the file or select an available URL source.
- Select WooCommerce Products as the import type.
- Map incoming data to product fields with drag and drop.
- Run the import and verify the products.
Install and get support
Install WP All Import first, then install the WooCommerce add-on on the WordPress website where you manage the catalog. The Pro edition is a paid upgrade that includes a customer portal with documentation and tutorials, premium support, and email technical support.
