Jetpack Complete includes VideoPress, a customizable, ad-free video player and hosted library for WordPress. Add a video from the WordPress Editor with the Jetpack VideoPress Block, or upload a local file to the VideoPress cloud library. Visitors can watch on your website without ads.

VideoPress is suited to videographers, filmmakers, educators, bloggers, and other site owners publishing lessons, films, demonstrations, interviews, presentations, or blog videos.

Storage limits and upload timeouts

The paid plan supports unlimited videos and up to 1 TB of total storage. Each file can be up to 5 GB. Slower network connections may time out before larger uploads finish.

Playback and viewer settings

• A video CDN supports delivery to audiences in various locations.
• Playback goes up to full 4K, including 1440p and 60 FPS video show.
• Adaptive streaming adjusts video quality to bandwidth and display size. Viewers can also select a quality in the player menu.
• Subtitles, captions, and chapters can be added through text tracks in the VideoPress block.
• Privacy options and poster images help control how a video is presented.
• Picture-in-picture lets viewers pop the video out of the browser.
• The seekbar color adapts to scenes in the video.
• Mobile-optimized playback supports viewing on mobile and desktop.

Manage the video library

The VideoPress Dashboard includes a central place to manage videos. You can filter the collection by rating or privacy setting and view the library in multiple ways. Teams working on the same site can use unlimited logins.

For a typical publishing process, upload a video to the cloud library, then choose it in the media workflow or add it with the VideoPress Block. Add text tracks, set privacy options, and choose a poster image as needed before publishing. Once the video is in a page or post, the player adjusts quality to network conditions and screen size.
