Plan WordPress publishing

SchedulePress Pro is a paid scheduling and content process tool for WordPress. Its visual editorial calendar shows draft and scheduled content, lets you create posts, and lets you move scheduled posts to another date with drag-and-drop controls. A dashboard widget also displays drafts and scheduled posts in the WordPress dashboard.

The calendar gives single-author websites and multi-author blogs a shared view of upcoming work. SchedulePress works with multiple authors from one place and can send authors email alerts about blog status. It includes scheduling processes for the Classic Editor, Gutenberg, and Elementor.

Choose how to schedule content

  • Auto Scheduler: Apply rules to schedule content at specified intervals, or set an exact date and time.
  • Manual Scheduler: Choose a precise date and time for a post.
  • Missed Schedule Handler: Automatically publish posts when WordPress misses their scheduled publication time.
  • Advanced Schedule: Schedule an update to a published post or page without drafting or unpublishing it.
  • Date-based sharing: Automatically share selected content on selected dates.

Advanced scheduling also supports blog and documentation content, including tags, categories, pictures, featured images, and excerpts. Use it to schedule updates to existing content.

Publish and share

When enabled, SchedulePress Pro can publish a post immediately while displaying a future date. It can also automatically share posts when they are published. Listed supported platforms include Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Medium, Threads, and Google Business Profile.

Set social-sharing text per platform or use a global template in the editor. Choose the social profiles for each share, and share directly without notifications or reminders when that fits your workflow.

Use the editor integrations

In Elementor, you can schedule content from the editor panel, unpublish posts that no longer need to remain live, and republish published posts. A modular control panel lets you enable or disable scheduling from Elementor.

Set up your workflow

Add SchedulePress Pro to your WordPress website, then open its scheduling and social-sharing controls. Choose a publishing method and configure the calendar, author alerts, scheduling rules, or platform-specific sharing you need. Review the relevant Pro settings before publishing when you use missed-schedule handling, recurring dates, advanced updates, or multiple social profiles.
