These formats can suit blogs, photographers, designers, salons, real estate websites, architects, organizations, and businesses that want to present published content visually.
Give each placement its own configuration
The graphical shortcode generator lets you configure a slider without writing shortcode attributes manually. Save a configuration to generate a shortcode for a post, page, or another location that supports shortcodes. You can make unlimited shortcode instances, each with its own settings. For example, one page can display a banner with popular posts while another displays recent posts in a carousel with selected metadata.
Set the layout, style, and content
The paid version includes more than 20 designed layouts. Its controls include advanced typography and color settings, animation effects, navigation and bullet styles, navigation speed, and navigation or pagination dot colors. A custom CSS field is available for further styling.
For the posts themselves, you can filter by category, pick the post order, set the number of posts and posts per page, and enable or disable individual metadata fields.
Create and place a slider
- Install Spice Slider Pro in WordPress and open Settings > Post Slider.
- Select the slider type and the posts it should display, then configure the layout, typography, colors, metadata, navigation, and animation.
- Save the configuration, copy its generated shortcode, such as
[spice_post_slider id=number], and paste it into the selected post or page. - Create another configuration and shortcode when you need a different presentation or placement.
