Social Share Icons & Social Share Buttons Premium extends the sharing and following settings available for a WordPress site. Configure what each button does, select its styling, and set where it appears.

Choose networks and button designs

The premium icon pack includes options such as Snapchat, Yummly, Print, WhatsApp, Yelp, SoundCloud, Skype, Flickr, Blogger, Digg, Reddit, Vimeo, Tumblr, Xing, VK, Telegram, Amazon, and Spotify, along with other icons listed by the plugin. The standard add-on includes Facebook, Twitter, email, RSS, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Houzz, OK, Telegram, VK, WeChat, Weibo, and a general share icon.

Premium includes more default design styles and themed buttons, including cat-themed designs. The broader plugin capability set also includes animated buttons, such as automatic shuffling and mouse-over effects, and share counts.

Set button actions and placement

A single button can offer more than one action. For example, a Facebook icon can link to a social profile and provide a way to share the page. Premium adds tailored tweet text and options for visitors to follow directly from the page.

  • Place icons before or after posts, as floating components, through a widget, or with a shortcode.
  • Choose positions such as top right or bottom left, and rearrange the icon order.
  • Display icons on specific pages.

The plugin is optimized for mobile sharing and button show, with options for how the buttons appear on smaller screens.

Configure popups and email options

Premium adds lightbox and popup options, including a setting to limit how often a popup appears to the same user. The email icon has additional functions for connecting with visitors. A subscription feature lets visitors receive new posts by email through SpecificFeeds. Setting up its feed during plugin installation transmits your IP address to that provider.

Set up the plugin

Install and activate the plugin, then choose the icons to display. Next, define their actions and choose where they should appear, such as before or after posts, in a widget, through a shortcode, or as floating icons. Configure page-specific placement and popup behavior as needed, and review the email and subscription settings if you plan to offer those options.
