Jetpack Security bundle for WordPress

Jetpack offers paid security settings for WordPress sites through the Security bundle and VaultPress Backup. The Security bundle includes backup and security tools, while VaultPress Backup focuses on automatic backups and restoration. Scan and Akismet Anti-spam can also be purchased individually. Jetpack’s free core features include login protection and basic downtime monitoring.

Backup and restoration options

Jetpack can back up website changes automatically in real time. Cloud storage starts at 10 GB, with additional storage options available. Restore a website to an earlier point with one click, or use an older backup to help repair a broken site.

Jetpack runs malware and security scans to identify code-related threats. When a scan finds malware, one-click fixes are available. The web application firewall examines incoming traffic and lets you allow or block it using rules. It can add protection when attackers target unpatched vulnerabilities.

Login, spam, and uptime

Jetpack includes brute force attack protection for the WordPress login page. Optional two-factor authentication is available with the WordPress.com-powered login. Uptime monitoring detects when a site goes down and sends an email alert. Basic downtime monitoring is included among Jetpack’s free core features.

Akismet Anti-spam filters spam comments and form responses. It works with Jetpack forms and integrations with Contact Form 7, Ninja Forms, Gravity Forms, and Formidable Forms.

Install and activate Jetpack on your WordPress site, then connect it to a WordPress.com account. Choose the Security bundle for combined security and backup features, or VaultPress Backup for backup-focused protection. Scan and Akismet Anti-spam are available separately.
