WordPress website health and server auditing

phpinfo() WP Pro is an in-admin tool for checking PHP compatibility, server configuration, site health, and security activity from one WordPress dashboard. It is designed for freelancers, agencies, and serious site owners who want to inspect production sites without relying on an external SaaS dashboard.

The plugin combines a searchable phpinfo() viewer with broader auditing utilities. You can review PHP version status and end-of-life dates, inspect configuration options, monitor server information, and identify issues that may affect updates or site operation.

Audit and troubleshoot from the admin area

The compatibility scanner uses static analysis inside WordPress to check add-ons and themes for PHP version conflicts. This approach is intended for managed hosting environments that restrict shell access. The Update Guard helps with pre-update and post-update review by previewing core upgrade stability, scanning pending plugin and theme updates, and verifying site health after updates.

Pro also includes a pre-update PHP check for plugin updates. This helps you review whether an update requires a PHP version that is not available on the site before proceeding.

When a configuration issue needs attention, Safeguard provides one-click auto-fix with rollback. Optimization rules can be written to .htaccess or .visitor.ini, with automatic reversion if the server returns a 500 error.

Troubleshooting Mode works in a per-user admin session. Visitors and clients continue seeing the live site while you isolate theme and plugin conflicts, making it suitable for debugging production websites without switching the entire site into a troubleshooting state.

Operational visibility and reporting

  • View peak RAM consumption, memory ceilings, database engine details, and OPcache health in the Live Server Telemetry Dashboard.
  • Review logins, failed authentication attempts with real IP detection, plugin and theme changes, and core settings updates in the Admin Security Activity Log.
  • Export activity data as a CSV file.
  • See an admin bar health grade and the most urgent issue across admin pages.
  • Use the dashboard widget for a quick site-health overview.
  • Generate a PDF audit report for client or internal review.

Pro plans support report branding through white-label controls for the company name, report title, accent color, and footer note. Single Site includes three snapshots and one API monitor. Unlimited Sites includes unlimited snapshots and API monitors, while the Lifetime plan is also described as supporting unlimited sites and permanent white-labeling.

Configuration and connected tools

The PHP configuration editor lets you change supported directives from the dashboard using .htaccess or .user.ini, with automatic backups and safety rollback. The plugin also includes a Config Grader summary, PHP EOL Timeline, security activity log, extensions list, and AI-ready audit interfaces described for WordPress 7.0, including AI explanations through the core AI Client connection.

Installation and process

  1. Install and activate phpinfo() WP.
  2. Open the plugin in the WordPress admin area and review the health, PHP, configuration, and server information.
  3. Run compatibility and pre-update checks before changing plugins, themes, or WordPress core.
  4. Use Troubleshooting Mode for isolated admin-session testing, then review the results and apply configuration fixes when appropriate.
  5. Generate an audit report and apply white-label settings when preparing documentation for a client or team.

All audits execute on the site’s own server. The Pro license check contacts the license server once per week to confirm the key, while the source states that other data is not transmitted. Pro is available as Single Site, Unlimited Sites, and Lifetime editions.
