Set photo review requirements

Photo Reviews for WooCommerce Premium lets clients attach product pictures and add a title to a review. Store administrators can set a maximum picture size or require a picture before submission. The review form can display a GDPR-related message and consent checkbox so customers can agree to share their review on the page. Administrators can edit review text, change review images, or add reviews manually through the plugin’s review form.

Customer-uploaded review images can be stored separately from images imported from AliExpress in folders for later modification.

Choose how reviews appear and are filtered

Reviews can be sorted from newest to oldest and displayed with overall ratings, total review counts, and rating breakdowns. Choose a grid or default style, set background and text colors, display review dates and full-size images, and add custom CSS. Review picture popups can use clickable images or a lightbox effect with the normal style.

Visitors can filter by rating, whether a review includes pictures, or verified buyer status. AJAX pagination and filtering let visitors change pages and filters without reloading the page. Default filters are available for product or review pages. Customers can also up-vote or down-vote reviews to show whether they found them helpful.

Configure reminders and coupon emails

After an order is marked complete, the plugin can send a review reminder after a scheduled period to a customer who purchased a product and has not reviewed that item. The reminder can include a discount coupon to encourage a review and product picture. Email content can use the {customer_name} shortcode. Products can be configured so reminder emails are not sent when no coupon is provided.

When a qualifying review is published, the plugin can email a coupon to its author. Administrators can select an existing WooCommerce coupon or configure the plugin to generate unique coupons using WooCommerce coupon options. Coupon requirements can include a minimum rating or the presence of a picture.

Import AliExpress reviews and localize emails

Import reviews to a selected WooCommerce product using an AliExpress product ID. Choose which ratings to import, and use phrase filters to replace unwanted words or phrases in imported names and review content. If WPML or Polylang is active, reminder and coupon emails can be sent in the customer’s language.

Install and configure

Install Photo Reviews for WooCommerce Premium on a WordPress website running WooCommerce. Set the review display, image rules, filters, reminder timing, email content, and coupon options to match the shop’s workflow. Check the front-end presentation, then enable the follow-up and incentive settings customers should receive.
