Simple Author Box Pro for Guest Authors and Co-Authors

Simple Author Box Pro includes contributor details to WordPress posts. An author box can show a gravatar, name, website, biography, job title, and social profile icons. WordPress visitor profiles include more than 30 social profile fields.

Choose contributors and show locations

Enable guest authors and co-authors for posts with multiple contributors. Guest authors can also be used as co-authors. Display options control where the box appears and whether it sits before or after post content. Automatic insertion can place it at the end of a post, while a theme template such as single.php or author.php lets you insert it at a specific location.

If an author box is missing from a WordPress page, the page type may explain it: the add-on needs author information attached to the content and does not display boxes on pages. Display settings also cover post and archive contexts such as categories and tags.

Set profile links and appearance

Choose whether the author’s name links to their website, author page, or nowhere. The website link can open in a new tab and include a nofollow attribute; its position can be on the left or right side of the box.

Adjust the color palette, font, and font sizes for the job title, website, author name, and description. Configure social icons by type and style, with settings for rotation effects, shadows, and thin borders. The author avatar can rotate when visitors hover over it.

Show authors in widgets

The Top Authors widget shows popular authors based on comments. The Simple Author Box widget displays selected users.

Configure author details

Install and activate the extension, then set the display position, rules, profile links, typography, colors, and social icon style in its settings. Add the author’s biography, website, gravatar, and social profiles through WordPress user profiles. The responsive layout supports desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile displays, along with RTL and AMP.

Privacy information

The plugin’s privacy information says it does not track, collect, or process user data. When Bunny Fonts are enabled, they load from a third-party CDN, where related processing follows that service’s terms.
