Package WordPress content as static documents
Export WordPress Pages to Static HTML Pro creates standalone HTML packages from pages, posts, and custom post types. Share them with developers, deliver them to clients, archive them, or host them without a WordPress installation. Pro removes the free version’s limit of five posts or pages per run and includes broader export scopes.
Choose what to export
Export a single entry, hand-picked pages or posts, selected custom post types, all pages, all posts, or a complete WordPress website. Pro also supports bulk exports and full-website conversion, including URL discovery and crawling. To create a package from an external site, use External Site Export to mirror an external URL.
Exports can include Published, Draft, Private, Pending, or Scheduled content. You can render pages as a specific WordPress visitor role to prepare membership or gated-content previews. The rendered front-end HTML preserves layouts from Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, Bricks, and Gutenberg.
Configure files and assets
- Organize exported resources in
/pictures,/css, and/jsdirectories. - Choose Strict, Hybrid, or Full asset discovery mode.
- Flatten parent URLs so selected parent posts can be saved as root-level
postname.htmlfiles. - Browse generated static files inside WordPress before downloading the package as a ZIP archive.
Background export jobs include pause, resume, cancel, and retry controls. The extension tracks failed URLs with error messages and retry counts, so you can rerun failed URLs without restarting the entire export. Export files are written to a separate directory, leaving the live site unchanged during the process.
Review and deploy the package
After an export finishes, preview the generated files in WordPress and download them as a ZIP. Upload completed exports through FTP or SFTP. Pro also supports direct deployment to AWS S3 buckets.
Install, check, and start an export
Install Pro on the WordPress site that contains the content you want to convert. Open Tools → Export WP Pages to Static HTML. System Status diagnostics check the PHP version, permissions, REST API, and other areas that may affect an export.
Follow this order for a typical export:
- Choose the export scope.
- Select the content and any optional status or user role settings.
- Choose an asset mode.
- Start the export and review the generated files.
- Download the ZIP or upload the files to a remote destination.
You can also add export buttons to posts or pages with shortcodes. For example, [export_html_button] shows an export button to allowed roles.
For selective and large-scale delivery
Use Export WordPress Pages to Static HTML Pro for client handoffs, campaign archives, offline copies, static hosting projects, or team workflows that need portable HTML packages. It includes selective, bulk, and full-site export settings, organized assets, background processing, deployment tools, priority support, and updates.
