For scheduled backups and website recovery
Everest Backup Pro is a paid WordPress add-on for backups, restoration, migration, and cloning. Create a backup manually or set a date and time for automatic backups. Pro offers more flexible scheduling and automatic retention settings for cloud storage. Restore backups from the WordPress Dashboard.
When a cloud service is connected
Google Drive is supported, with add-ons available for Dropbox, OneDrive, AWS Amazon S3, pCloud, and Backblaze. After connecting a service and selecting a backup location, upload and manage backup documents from the Dashboard. Pro lets you download or delete cloud files there without signing in to the storage service separately.
You can configure local backup files to be deleted after a successful cloud upload. Automatic removal can be set for a selected number of days, while cloud retention settings manage older remote files. Add a custom name tag to help identify backups.
When restoring or moving installations
Pro works with one-click rollback from remote cloud storage. For migration or cloning, install and activate the plugin on both sites, generate and copy a migration key on the source website, then paste it into the destination site to start the move. The plugin can back up and restore WordPress Multisite installations, including the entire network.
Backups around orders and updates
- Trigger a backup after a WooCommerce order.
- Trigger a backup before a WordPress, plugin, or theme update.
- Exclude unused images and media from backup files.
- Send advanced email notifications and reports, with multiple email recipients.
- Review human-readable logs and advanced reports about backup activity.
Reports can display the status of backups, including the last automatic backup process.
Set up the process in WordPress

Connect the cloud service you want to use, pick a backup location, and configure manual or scheduled backups.
