Ultimate FAQ Premium Version extends a WordPress FAQ library with utilities for finding, displaying, and maintaining answers. Create FAQ entries, categories, tags, and pages, then place them with Gutenberg blocks, patterns, or shortcodes. The responsive accordion works with editors such as Elementor, and an activation walkthrough helps you create FAQs and add them to a page.

Help visitors find relevant answers

The plugin includes a page-load FAQ search form. Premium includes live AJAX search across the FAQ database without reloading the page. Search settings can highlight matches, autocomplete titles after a visitor types at least three characters, and display FAQs on page load in the same block. WP Forms integration can load matching FAQs as someone types into a form.

For WooCommerce product pages, Premium can add an FAQs tab. Assign FAQs automatically by matching an FAQ category name to a product or WooCommerce category, or select them manually in the product editor. Visitors can also suggest FAQ ideas through a submission form, with an optional suggested answer.

Organize and present the FAQ library

Choose additional layouts and animation options, and select from 15 icon sets for toggle symbols. Adjust labels and styling, and arrange entries with drag-and-drop ordering. Custom fields can hold links, text areas, dates, or documents. Premium also works with FAQ permalinks and social sharing for individual entries. Import or export FAQs through a spreadsheet, or export the collection to PDF for a reference document.

Built-in statistics and view counts show which FAQs receive the most attention. With administrator opt-in, local analytics can retain bounded daily counts for normalized search text, searches with no results, FAQ opens, and helpfulness responses for 7, 30, 60, or 90 days. Raw IP addresses and visitor-agent strings are not retained, and administrators can clear the analytics. An AI provider configured in WordPress Settings > Connectors can use content gaps to suggest FAQs. Administrators can choose automatic generation or manually generate and review suggestions.

Review AI-generated FAQs before publishing

Premium AI FAQ generation can create up to 20 FAQs at a time from multiple selected pages or posts. Generated content can be reviewed before publication. When an administrator confirms and starts AI Assist, selected public page or post text is sent to Etoile Web Design and relayed to OpenAI. Private, draft, future, pending, and password-protected content is rejected, and no other data is sent externally.

Translations, comments, and structured data

FAQ entries use a custom post type and can be translated with WPML, Loco Translate, or Polylang. A current .pot file is included for custom translations. You can choose whether entries show details such as categories, tags, author, or date. Comments use WordPress’s built-in comment system and moderation options. The extension outputs FAQ and FAQPage structured data in JSON-LD; this does not guarantee a Google rich result.

Install and add FAQs to a page

Install and activate the Ultimate FAQ plugin in WordPress. The initial walkthrough helps create FAQs and add them to a page. Then use the available blocks, patterns, or shortcodes to place FAQ content where visitors need it, and configure the search, show, ordering, styling, and other Premium options.
