Events Search & Filter Bar Pro: Search beyond event titles

Events Search & Filter Bar Pro includes search and filtering to sites that use The Events Calendar, which continues to manage the events. Keyword search can match event titles, descriptions, venue names and organizer names. Visitors can filter by category, tag, venue or organizer. The location filter uses the city, state or region, and country recorded for event venues.

Choose filters and results placement

Additional filters can appear behind a Filters button or remain visible below the main bar. Choose pill, dropdown or filled styles for filter triggers. Search submissions can show matching events in a results area on the same page or send users to a dedicated events search results page.

The Modern card styling places a date badge on the event picture. The full takeover option replaces The Events Calendar’s List view with the bar and its event results.

Keep event views shareable

The date filter offers presets for Today, Tomorrow, This weekend, This week, Next week, This month and Next month, plus custom date ranges. Filtered URLs retain the selected search, date range, sort and page, so visitors can share or revisit a specific view.

Use the existing calendar setup

Pro works with The Events Calendar in either its free or Pro edition. Add the search bar and results areas with the add-on’s shortcodes, then choose filters, placement, results destination and card design in the settings. Pro keeps the same shortcodes, settings and CSS class names. Existing version 1.x shortcodes remain accepted, with older layout, show-events, disable-past-events and content-type attributes mapped to the newer engine.
