Set up a marketplace for multiple sellers
Dokan Pro is a paid extension for a WordPress marketplace built with WooCommerce and the Dokan marketplace add-on. Vendors run individual stores while administrators manage the platform and its commissions. Marketplace models can include physical products, digital downloads, bookings, auctions, subscriptions, local selling, print-on-demand, and B2B, B2C, P2B, or D2C sales.
Configure products, commissions, and payouts
Administrators can view and modify vendor products, set product publishing rules, and review marketplace earnings. Commission settings can use a flat amount or a percentage, with vendor or product-based commissions and percentage overrides for individual vendors. Reports can be grouped by day, year, or vendor, with a separate earning report for each vendor.
Withdrawal settings include the order status and automatic disbursement based on an amount or time period. Other marketplace settings cover vendor shop URLs, store maps, contact forms, store sidebars, and vendor review editing permissions. Administrators can also select whether vendors may publish products directly and use widgets for best and featured vendors, store contact, and store locations.
Give vendors utilities to run their stores
Vendor capabilities include a dashboard, analytics, staff management, reviews, seller badges, support, vacation settings, and verification. Depending on the selected modules, vendors can manage products, shipping conditions, wholesale sales, product inquiries, and store support. Product tools include variable and downloadable products, product attributes, and download permissions, expiry dates, and limits.
Vendors can also manage coupons and review sales, earnings, and product revenue through reports. Administrators retain platform oversight, including access to vendor products and marketplace reports.
Add customer and commerce features
Customers can contact vendors through Product Enquiry and, where enabled, live chat. Other listed options include store following, geolocation, product reviews, return and warranty requests, and delivery tracking through the Dokan Delivery Driver App. The delivery process includes real-time order tracking, timeline updates, and communication among administrators, vendors, clients, and delivery drivers.
Listed Pro modules cover bookings, subscriptions, simple auctions, product add-ons, single-product multivendor selling, requests for quotation, vendor coupons, product duplication, Ajax live search, and PDF invoices. Payment integrations listed for Pro include Stripe Connect, Stripe Express, Paystack, Razorpay, PayPal Marketplace, and MANGOPAY. Other listed options include WPML and Rank Math SEO integrations, EU compliance fields, colour scheme customization, report abuse, and product store support.
Move an existing marketplace and configure Dokan Pro
Migration tools support moving vendor data, products, and orders from WC Vendors, WCFM Marketplace, or MultiVendorX. To set up a marketplace, start with a WordPress website using WooCommerce and the Dokan marketplace plugin. Add Dokan Pro, then configure vendor registration, product publishing, commissions, withdrawals, store settings, and the modules suited to your marketplace. Administrators can then manage stores, products, customer communication, and earnings reports from the available tools.
