How PayHere PREMIUM connects to WooCommerce
The PayHere Payment Gateway includes PayHere as a payment method in WooCommerce. Customers can pay with Visa, MasterCard, Amex, eZcash, mCash, or Internet Banking services. On-site checkout can be enabled in WooCommerce Settings > Payments > PayHere > Manage.
Tokenized cards
Tokenized cards are available with a PayHere PREMIUM plan or a PayHere Sandbox account. To configure the feature, sign in to the PayHere Merchant Account and go to Settings > Business Apps > Create App. Generate an App ID and App Secret, then open WooCommerce Settings > Payments > PayHere > Manage. Select Enable Tokenizer, enter the App ID and App Secret, and save the options.
Once configured, clients can choose Save Card during payment. On later visits, they can be offered the option to pay with a saved card. Customers can manage available cards under My Account > Saved Cards, where they can remove a card. Administrators can view customers with pre-approved saved cards under WooCommerce > Cards on files.
WooCommerce Subscriptions limits
Supported subscription products can be checked out through the gateway, subject to these conditions:
- Only one subscription can be checked out at a time.
- An order cannot contain both regular products and subscription products.
- Trial and billing periods must be equal, and the trial length cannot exceed one billing period.
- Synchronized subscriptions and free trials are not supported.
