Create picture galleries for WordPress

Image Gallery Premium includes the gallery capabilities and presentation controls for portfolios, photography blogs, business sites, and other image collections. Create as many galleries as you need, add unlimited pictures to each, select them from the media library, and arrange their order with drag and drop.

Choose a layout for the images

For collections with varied image dimensions, masonry stacks images according to their proportions; grid layouts use rows and columns, while circle layouts offer another presentation style. Premium grid layouts support aspect ratios including 1:1, 4:3, and 16:9. Standard column controls range from two to six, with layouts of up to 16 columns available for high-resolution widescreen screens. Galleries adapt to mobile devices and can also appear in widget areas such as sidebars.

Set image details and lightbox behavior

Choose from six lightbox scripts: G Lightbox, PhotoSwipe v4, Modal, Viewer, Blue Imp, and LD Lightbox. Each opens an image in an overlay. Add image descriptions to the lightbox, and choose whether titles appear over the hover overlay or below the image card. Image alt text settings support accessibility-focused content management. You can also assign custom redirect links to individual slides and choose whether each link opens in the same tab or a new tab.

Adjust card styling and loading

Gallery controls include spacing, border thickness and opacity, corner radius from 0 to 100 pixels, and card colors. AJAX Load More pagination offers Solid, Outline, Glass, Neon, and Gradient button styles.

The global settings page includes controls for lazy loading, WebP conversion, skeleton loading, loading animations, and backup import and export. Loading choices include shimmering skeleton placeholders and spinner, pulse, or dots icons, with color selection for these components.

Manage and reuse galleries

Custom profile headers are available in Standard, Centered, and Compact formats, with mock social branding designs. Duplicate or clone a gallery to copy its settings and slides. A custom CSS editor lets you override frontend stylesheet properties from the admin dashboard. Priority email support is included.

Place a gallery on a page

  • Shortcode: Add [IMG-Gal id=X] to a post, page, text widget, or custom template.
  • Gutenberg: Insert the native Image Gallery block, choose a gallery from the dropdown, and preview it in the editor.
  • Elementor: Add the Image Gallery widget to a page layout and select a gallery for visual editing.

You can also use the shortcode in supported page builders and classic text widgets. Keeping gallery content separate from page layouts lets you reuse a gallery in suitable areas of your website.

Create and publish a gallery

In the WordPress dashboard, open the New Image Gallery menu and select Add Image Gallery. Upload images or choose them from the media library, configure the layout, columns, spacing, and viewing options, then save. Place the gallery with its shortcode, the Gutenberg block, or the Elementor widget.
