Build menus from WordPress content
Iks Menu PRO is a paid edition of Iks Menu for creating accordion menus and FAQs in WordPress. Choose a custom menu, a taxonomy such as categories or tags, WooCommerce product categories, or FAQ groups created with the add-on’s FAQ post type. Images are supported for menu sources, including WooCommerce category images and FAQ content.
Configure the menu in a live editor that applies changes without reloading the page. The visual settings let you adjust the styling without coding. When it is ready, add the menu through a WordPress widget, shortcode, or PHP code.
Control expansion and appearance
PRO includes the FREE plan capabilities, with additional controls for how menus open and look. Initial Expansion opens selected entries when a page loads. Submenus can use expand-and-collapse animations, and parent elements can act as submenu toggles.
- Display post counts in supported menu views.
- Choose from more than 50 icons and more than five expansion animations.
- Use more than 20 skins, alongside the six available in the FREE plan.
- Apply Custom styles and set colors, fonts, margins, padding, heights, and widths.
- Define styles for hover, current, and child states.
- Export and import complete settings or appearance settings for reuse.
Choose and arrange taxonomy terms
When a taxonomy supplies the menu, its terms become menu entries. PRO settings control which terms appear and their order: conceal empty terms, select an ordering field, set ascending or descending order, and control hierarchical results. Include and exclude fields accept comma- or space-separated term IDs.
Further controls let you set search criteria, select a parent or child term, or select the childless option to limit results to terms without children. These settings can shape category navigation, product-category menus, and other taxonomy-based accordions.
Menu uses and navigation
Create a sidebar category or product-category menu, group FAQs into expandable sections, display posts beneath a taxonomy-based menu source, or add images for visual context. Keyboard navigation works with Tab and Enter, and menu elements have a focus state.
