Put event listings into Elementor pages

Events Widgets Pro shows events published through The Events Calendar inside Elementor pages. Use it to add schedules and event highlights to a homepage, conference site, meetup listing, or community portal. Your WordPress site needs Elementor and The Events Calendar installed and activated.

Choose how users view

Present events in a List, Calendar, Grid, or Carousel layout. Lists give visitors a direct view of a schedule, while a calendar lets them browse by date. Grid layouts arrange events as cards, and carousels display them in a sliding display. List, Grid, and Carousel layouts include modern, minimal, and classic styles.

Reuse custom event cards

With the Events Loop Builder, styling an event layout once and reuse it across List, Grid, or Carousel displays. Build custom event cards and archive views, then use the same layout in different sections of your site. Pro also works with displaying custom fields created with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), such as speaker, sponsor, ticket price, or other event information.

Choose which events appear

Set a section to show future events, past events, or both. Choose all or selected event categories, sort by event start date in ascending or descending order, and set a date range. Time-based query filters can target periods such as today, this week, or next month. Other query filters can narrow results by venue, organizer, tag, category, or featured status.

Add the AJAX-based search and filter bar when visitors need to find events by date, category, venue, organizer, or tag. Results update without reloading the page. For longer listings, add AJAX Load More buttons or pagination controls.

Set event details and styling

Choose whether to show dates, times, venues, organizers, and ticket booking details. Adjust date formatting, colors, typography, spacing, borders, event meta information, and layout options in the Elementor widget panel. Event schema markup can also be enabled to help search engines understand event details.

Add an event section

1. Install and activate Elementor and The Events Calendar on your WordPress site.
2. Edit a page with Elementor and add the Events widget.
3. Choose a layout and configure event categories, dates, ordering, and event types.
4. Design a reusable layout with the Events Loop Builder, then choose the details and styling to display.
5. Add search and filtering when visitors need to browse a larger schedule, then publish the page.
