Choose how visitors browse events

List, Timeline, and Minimal List styles present events as a schedule, a chronological sequence, or a compact listing. Pro includes Grid, Carousel, Slider, Masonry, Accordion, calendar-style, and highlighted layouts. Grid arranges events as cards; Carousel and Slider make sliding showcases. Masonry uses a flexible grid, while Accordion keeps listings expandable. Calendar-style views focus on schedules, and highlighted layouts give selected events more emphasis.

Choose events and set filters

Configure listings by category, date range, or event status, including future events, past events, or all event archives. Shortcode settings can select events by venue, organizer, or tag, display featured events, set the event limit, select ascending or descending order, and select a date format. Other show settings include venue visibility and time selection, with social sharing available where supported by the listing configuration.

The Pro frontend filter bar lets visitors search and narrow listings by category, venue, organizer, or other available filters. Its options help visitors explore a larger schedule from the page.

Add a listing to your website

  1. Install and activate The Events Calendar and Events Shortcodes Pro in WordPress.
  2. Open the page, post, widget, or supported Bricks template where the events should appear.
  3. Insert a shortcode, the Gutenberg Events block, or the Bricks Events component.
  4. Choose a layout and configure the available event filters, dates, categories, sorting, and display limit.
  5. Save or publish the content, then review the listing on the page.

Shortcodes use attributes to configure a listing. The Gutenberg block and Bricks component provide settings in their editing panels.
