Configure and place elements
Use the visual shortcode generator to choose an element, adjust its settings and preview the result before inserting it. You can also enter shortcode syntax manually. Generated shortcodes can go in a Shortcode, Paragraph or Classic block, and shortcodes can also be used in the Classic Editor, widgets, Elementor shortcode widgets and template documents through do_shortcode().
Reuse content across WordPress
Shortcodes Ultimate includes tabs, accordions, buttons, FAQ sections, sliders, carousels, lightboxes, columns, boxes, post lists, media embeds, spoilers and toggles. Use these elements to organize long content, add call-to-action or download buttons, create notes and callouts, show posts or provide expandable sections. Shortcodes can be reused across posts, pages, widgets and templates.
Many shortcodes have styling settings, and the built-in Custom CSS editor enables further adjustments. The plugin is designed to work with most properly coded WordPress themes, though a theme's own CSS can affect how elements appear.
Getting started
- Install and activate Shortcodes Ultimate in WordPress.
- Open a post or page and choose Insert Shortcode.
- Select an element, adjust its settings and insert it.
- Preview or publish the page to see the result.
With Shortcodes Ultimate active, use the Pro additions where they fit your content. The listed add-on requirements are WordPress 6.0 or later and PHP 7.0 or later.
