Hyve Pro: WordPress AI Chatbot for Content and Leads

Hyve Pro adds a conversational AI assistant to a WordPress site. When a user asks a question, it uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to search selected information and generate an answer from relevant material. Numbered source links let visitors open referenced pages and read further. The chat can help them find support details, documentation, pricing information, product details, and other information you have selected.

Help users find information through chat

Hyve Pro adds a conversational AI assistant to a WordPress site. When a user asks a question, it uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to search selected information and generate an answer from relevant material. Numbered source links let visitors open referenced pages and read further. The chat can help them find support details, documentation, pricing information, product details, and other information you have selected.

Choose what the assistant can use

Build the knowledge base from WordPress posts, pages, WooCommerce products, and custom post types. When a page is edited, Hyve re-indexes it on save so the assistant can use the updated version.

Hyve Pro can also use PDF, Word, Markdown, text, and CSV documents, including manuals, policies, and price lists, without republishing them as WordPress content. Crawl a site URL or add an entire website through its sitemap to include external documentation. You can enter custom data for information you prefer not to publish publicly.

Use live information with read-only Skills

The indexed knowledge base and live Skills serve different purposes. The knowledge base uses selected content that Hyve indexes, with edited pages re-indexed on save. Skills retrieve live information from your website beyond that indexed knowledge base. They are read-only, so the assistant can retrieve information without changing website content.

Collect enquiries with their context

Add a contact form inside the chat and select its fields. You can display it before a conversation, when the assistant cannot answer, or when a visitor asks to speak to a person. Leads appear in the dashboard alongside the conversation they came from, so your team can review the enquiry with its context.

Configure the chat and review conversations

Give the assistant a name and personality, add custom instructions, and style the widget with your colors and icons. You can also set its welcome message and the fallback message for questions the available content does not cover.

Content moderation can screen visitor messages before they reach the AI. Optional controls include chat sound, message timestamps, privacy options, and a chat privacy notice. The dashboard shows recent conversations. Hyve Pro can also help identify unanswered questions and review common questions and trends, with CSV chat export for team review.

Get started

  1. Install Hyve on your WordPress site.
  2. Choose the WordPress content, files, sites, or custom data the chatbot should learn from.
  3. Choose Hyve Connect or connect your own OpenAI key, then place the chat widget on your site.

Once configured, visitors can ask questions naturally and receive answers based on the information you selected.
