Who should receive forum notifications?
bbPress Notify Premium gives community managers more control over topic and reply email updates in bbPress and BuddyBoss forums. Target notifications by visitor role, such as administrators, moderators or members, to fit the way your community handles discussions.
How should notification emails look?
Choose HTML, plain-text or multipart email formats. Image support is available for notifications. Administrators can adjust recipients and templates through the settings screens, while developers can use dozens of filters and actions to adapt notification behavior to a site's process.
How can you review and send updates?
Use dry-execute mode to preview recipients before messages are sent, then review the audience and adjust targeting before applying changes to live forum activity. Background sending can move notifications to wp-cron, which is intended to help prevent post-submission timeouts when many users need updates at once. The Bulk Mailer add-on is available for larger communities sending notifications to thousands of users without timeouts or dropped emails.
Which community workflows can add-ons support?
Reply by Email lets users post topics or replies directly from their inbox. Daily, weekly or monthly digests summarize updates, and the Opt-Out add-on offers one-click unsubscribe options for particular notifications.
Membership and LMS Bridges are available for websites that need notifications to stay in sync with access control. Listed integrations include BuddyPress, BuddyBoss, MemberPress, LearnDash, AccessAlly, Ultimate Member and Private Groups.
How do you configure notifications?
Install the plugin on a WordPress website with bbPress or BuddyBoss forum functionality. In the WordPress administration area, open the dedicated bbPress Notify (No-Spam) menu and configure recipients, email formats, templates and background notifications. Use dry-run mode to review the intended audience, then add the extensions your community needs for reply-by-email, bulk sending, digests, opt-outs or membership and LMS connections.
