Profile Builder PRO for WordPress User Profiles and Access

Profile Builder PRO includes front-end user management to WordPress sites. Create registration, login, profile editing, logout, and password recovery forms for communities, associations, course websites, news and resource sites, directories, job boards, consultancy services, private websites, and members-only stores. Fields added through the front end are also visible in the WordPress back end.

Forms and profile fields

Add forms to pages with plugin blocks or shortcodes such as [wppb-register], [wppb-login], [wppb-edit-profile], [wppb-logout], and [wppb-recover-password]. Create multiple registration forms with different fields for selected user roles, along with multiple edit profile forms for different purposes.

Additional field types include hidden inputs, agreement checkboxes, WYSIWYG editors, uploads, international telephone inputs, user role, country, timezone, currency, custom post type, and taxonomy selectors, maps, HTML, phone fields, date and time pickers, color pickers, and custom validation. Conditional fields show inputs based on a user's selections. AJAX processing supports form submission, and repeater fields let visitors add repeatable fields or groups of fields to a profile.

Directories and access rules

Create customizable front-end user listings and member directories with sorting, and set up separate listings for different audiences. The plugin can also display a map of user locations and add progress bars to registration and profile editing forms.

Restrict content by user role or login status, including WooCommerce shop pages and products or an entire private site. The built-in role editor lets administrators manage user roles and capabilities. New users can be approved from the dashboard or by email.

Add-ons and integrations

The PRO feature list includes 17 premium add-ons, premium support, and documentation. Listed add-ons include form fields in columns, WooCommerce synchronization for shipping and billing fields, social login through Facebook, Google, Twitter/X, or LinkedIn, and multi-step registration or profile editing forms. Other listed integrations include MailPoet subscriptions, bbPress, and BuddyPress profile fields.

Additional utilities support email confirmation, customized emails, username or email login options, password requirements, invisible reCAPTCHA, GDPR consent collection, and customizable form designs.

Setup

Install and activate the plugin through the WordPress administration area, then configure profile fields, forms, roles, and access rules. Place the required forms on pages using blocks or shortcodes. Configure fields and conditional rules for each audience; for a directory, set up user listings and sorting, and for a private website or members-only WooCommerce store, apply restrictions based on user roles or login status.
