Choose a source for timeline content

Timeline Pro organizes dates, milestones, steps, and journeys into interactive timelines for WordPress posts, pages, and widgets. Add a Gutenberg Timeline block to a post or page, enter your content, and adjust its available layout and styling settings in the Block Editor.

For timelines based on existing WordPress content, the Dynamic Post Timeline block can draw from any custom post type. Filter that content by taxonomy, terms, and author. You can also create a timeline in the Timeline area, configure its settings, copy the generated shortcode, and paste it into a post, page, or widget.

Choose a layout and presentation

The Pro edition includes nine extra themes, including dual-orientation themes. Select a vertical or horizontal layout, then adjust the available orientation and layout details. Styling settings include customizable icons for timeline entries and animation. Rich descriptions support formatting with the Classic Editor.

Choose a specialized block

The Accordion Timeline block groups steps in collapsible sections and includes custom status markers and interactive toggles. For company histories, the Company History Timeline block delivers an interactive year card, clickable year rail, and auto-slide navigation.

Other blocks cover career timelines, media stories, event schedules, roadmaps, and year navigation. Use them to organize professional progression, dated schedules, project plans, or year-based content.

Start a timeline

Install and activate Timeline Pro, then open a post or page in the WordPress Block Editor. Select the plus button, search for Timeline, and add the Timeline block. Enter your content, customize the available layout and styling options, then publish or update the page.

For shortcode placement, create a timeline from the Timeline area and configure its options. Copy the generated shortcode and paste it into a post, page, or widget.
