WordPress plugin
WP Webhooks Pro for WordPress Workflows
WP Webhooks Pro uses no-code webhooks to connect a WordPress website, its add-ons, and external services. A trigger sends data when a selected event occurs, such as a user login or form submission. An action receives data from an API or service and runs a task in WordPress. Pro Flows link triggers and actions so tasks execute in sequence.

Connect WordPress events and services
WP Webhooks Pro uses no-code webhooks to connect a WordPress website, its add-ons, and external services. A trigger sends data when a selected event occurs, such as a user login or form submission. An action receives data from an API or service and runs a task in WordPress. Pro Flows link triggers and actions so tasks execute in sequence.
The add-on references more than 100 integrations, including Zapier, Pabbly, Make, Integrately, and automate.io. Requests use POST by default, with GET, HEAD, PUT, DELETE, TRACE, OPTIONS, and PATCH also supported. Supported data formats include XML, JSON, plain text or HTML, forms, and form URL-encoded data.
Automate WordPress and plugin tasks
- Create or update visitors and posts, including metadata, with Advanced Custom Fields support; add or remove multiple user roles.
- Send data after events such as a user registering, editing a profile, confirming an email address, logging in, or submitting a Gravity Forms or WPForms form.
- Connect membership and payment events from Paid Member Subscriptions, WP Simple Pay, and other supported integrations to external services.
- Use an external process to create a WooCommerce order from Airtable data.
- Run PHP code from incoming data or fire an existing WP Webhooks trigger.
Configure and troubleshoot processes
Pro includes unlimited triggers, actions, and Flows, along with Pro integrations, features, and extensions. Test triggers and actions with one click, authenticate requests using API keys, bearer tokens, or Basic Authentication, and create unlimited webhook action URLs.
Map incoming and outgoing data, or use a bulk webhook action to start several actions at once. Shortcodes, custom links, buttons, and WordPress hook actions provide additional ways to start an automation. Logs help with debugging. IP whitelisting, access tokens, and webhook URL action whitelisting provide additional access controls. Pro also includes whitelabeling and in-plugin extension management.
WordPress Abilities and AI integrations
On WordPress 6.9 or newer, you can expose an individual WP Webhooks action as a WordPress Ability. Exposure is off by default and controlled per action. Each exposed Ability has input and output schemas and a permission check. Exposing an action that is not read-only requires confirmation; Ability annotations identify read-only, destructive, and idempotent actions. Premium actions require an active license before exposure.
Exposed Abilities are available through the WordPress REST API. MCP clients also need an MCP server on the website, such as the MCP Adapter. In the other direction, webhooks can run, list, or describe Abilities registered by WordPress or other plugins. You can select the user those actions run as, and a separate setting controls calls that change data.
AI integrations include Google Gemini, with Nano Banana support, OpenAI ChatGPT, and Open Router. Connect them through webhooks for tasks such as content creation and data processing.
Set up a workflow
- Activate WP Webhooks in WordPress and open Settings > WP Webhooks.
- Configure the needed integration, then select a trigger, action, or Flow.
- Choose an authentication method for the relevant requests and test the setup.
- Review logs and adjust data mapping or webhook permissions as needed.
