Set up petition messages

SpeakOut! Pro extends SpeakOut! Email Petitions for organizations, campaigns, and community sites that manage multiple petitions. The Pro version supports unlimited campaigns. For each one, configure a form, the recipient email address, and the petition message.

When a visitor submits a petition, a copy of the message goes to the specified recipient, signed with the contact information the visitor provided. The visitor can also choose to receive a BCC copy.

Manage signatures and campaign options

Signatures are stored in the WordPress database for review. Export them to CSV when you need to analyze the data elsewhere. SpeakOut! Pro includes export functionality; it does not include an import function.

Set a signature goal to display progress toward a target with a progress bar. The goal can update automatically when a specified percentage of it is reached. You can also set a closing date to stop a petition from accepting new signatures.

Sharing and mailing integrations

After signing, visitors can share the petition page with their followers on Facebook or X, or use the email sharing option. SpeakOut! Pro also includes expanded integration with third-party mailing services for processes that include petition activity in broader email communications.

Prepare a campaign for publication

  1. Add SpeakOut! Pro to your WordPress site and configure the petition settings before publishing.
  2. Create a campaign and add its form. Set the recipient email address and petition message, then configure the contact information submitters provide and the optional BCC copy.
  3. Set a signature goal, progress behavior, and closing date as needed. Test the submission flow so the petition email and available sharing settings match your intended process.
  4. After publishing, review the signatures stored in the WordPress database and export them to CSV for analysis elsewhere. Visitors can share the petition after signing.
