Collect and review submitted events
Visitors can submit events for free or through a pay-to-post approach. Administrators can personalize the submission form to collect the fields they need and review entries before publication. Logged-in users can edit their own events from the front end. A custom field creator adds fields to event entries.
Connect events with blog posts
Choose which item starts the publishing process: My Calendar Pro can make an event when you publish a blog post, or publish a blog post when you create an event. Advanced search helps narrow event listings by dates, categories, authors, and other criteria.
Import and share event data
- Import events in ICS or CSV format from a file or URL.
- Share events between multiple sites through REST API support.
- Fetch events from a remote database for sharing across a network of sites.
- Manage events across WordPress Multisite.
Imports bring in event data already stored in files or at a URL. REST API support and remote database access let sites share event information.
Use the wider My Calendar system
The Pro extension works with My Calendar’s calendar views, recurring events, categories, locations, venues, and show customization. My Calendar also provides responsive event views, JSON-LD structured data for events and venues, and iCal or Google Calendar export and subscription. Its accessibility-focused options let organizations describe available functions at events and physical venues for users using assistive technology.
Setup and customization
After activating both extensions, configure the submission, custom field, search, import, and sharing settings for your event workflow. Documentation covers setup, and developers can use the extension’s actions and filters for custom development. Translations are supported through WordPress Translations.
