How does the Minimum and Maximum Quantity Plugin PRO work?
Minimum and Maximum Quantity Plugin PRO lets WooCommerce stores set how many entries customers can purchase and which cart requirements must be met before checkout. Rules can apply to individual or variable products, product categories, customers, carts, and specific periods. The rule’s scope determines which products or orders it affects.
Set quantity rules by product, customer, or order
Minimum and Maximum Quantity Plugin PRO lets WooCommerce stores set how many entries customers can purchase and which cart requirements must be met before checkout. Rules can apply to individual or variable products, product categories, customers, carts, and specific periods. The rule’s scope determines which products or orders it affects.
Product quantities and conditions
Set minimum and maximum quantities for individual products or categories. The Pro edition also supports default and step quantities across shop products. Quantity selectors can appear as radio buttons, a dropdown, or the default input.
Product rules can depend on total sales, price, stock, product age, attributes, or best-seller status. For a rule with several conditions, select Any to match when at least one condition is met, or All to require every condition.
Customer, cart, and country rules
Apply quantity requirements to individual customers or visitor roles. Cart conditions can use shipping methods, shipping zones, and applied coupons. Rules may also use the customer’s country, so requirements can vary by location.
Order thresholds and checkout behavior
Set minimum and maximum order values, minimum and maximum order quantities, and limits on the number of items required to proceed with checkout. Global cart rules can show custom messages and block checkout when requirements are not met. You can also conceal the checkout button when conditions fail and exclude specific products from global checkout rules.
Timed rules and customer guidance
Set start and end times for quantity restrictions to make them apply during a defined period. Applied rules can appear on product pages with a customizable headline and position. Global rules can also appear on the cart page so customers can review requirements before checkout.
Validation messages can tell customers when they reach a maximum quantity. Custom messages can explain global cart requirements.
Installation and setup
Install and activate the add-on in your WooCommerce store, then make the quantity, product, user, cart, and time rules you need. Configure selector preferences, messages, rule visibility, and checkout behavior before applying the options to products and customers.
