Min Max Quantities Pro lets WooCommerce stores define purchase conditions by quantity, product or order value, and customer role. Rules can apply globally or to products, variations, categories, grouped products, orders, and the cart.
Limits measured by quantity
Set minimum and maximum quantities for products, categories, orders, and carts. Product rules work with simple and variable products. For variable products, Pro works with limits on individual variations or combined rules across variations. Grouped products can also have minimum and maximum quantities.
Quantity steps, also called quantity groups, set the increments customers can buy. Grouped products and product variations support steps. Category rules can set quantity limits and product quotas.
Limits measured by value
Pro supports minimum and maximum product totals, category totals, and amounts for grouped products and variations. You can also require a minimum or maximum order value, including a minimum total after discounts. Separate cart rules are available.
A configured cart rule takes priority for cart checks. When no cart rule is set, the cart follows applicable global or product rules. A minimum or maximum product quantity or price set to zero does not function as a rule.
Role rules and rule priority
Set quantity and amount limits by user role for products, categories, and the cart. This can accommodate various requirements for wholesale, retail, or custom roles. Pro also supports vendor-defined product limits with WCFM and MultivendorX.
For overlapping min/max rules, the documented priority is role-based, product variation, product, category, then global. Product options can override global settings, and individual products can be excluded from min/max rules. Pro also lets you disable category rules.
Restriction messages and setup
Customers see an error when their cart does not meet a configured condition, and Pro lets you customize restriction messages. Customers must adjust the cart to meet the requirements before proceeding to checkout.
In the WooCommerce administration area, select whether a rule applies globally, to a product, variation, category, or cart. Enter the relevant quantity, amount, or step values, then configure role-specific or combined variation rules as needed. Check representative cart scenarios, including discounts and overlapping rules, to confirm that the limits and messages reflect your shop's requirements.
The listed minimum requirements are WordPress 5.2, WooCommerce 3.0, PHP 7.4, and MySQL 5.6 or MariaDB 10.
