ACF Import Pro Add-On: Map Data to ACF Fields

ACF Import Pro Add-On works with WP All Import to map CSV, Excel, or XML data to Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) in WordPress. The import panel shows ACF fields beside data from the selected file. Drag values into their destination fields, then apply the mapping across records. Files can keep their existing structure, and CSV columns do not need specific names. If special characters cause CSV import problems, UTF-8 encoding is recommended.

Choose the required setup

WP All Import with the free ACF Import Add-On supports basic values such as text, numbers, ranges, email addresses, URLs, and passwords. The expanded ACF field support and Pro capabilities below require WP All Import Pro, the free ACF Import Add-On, and ACF Import Pro Add-On to be active together. The add-on also works with the free version of WP All Import for the capabilities available there.

Fields, pictures, and documents

With the required Pro setup, imports can include ACF fields such as Flexible Content, Relationships, Dates, Image Galleries, and Google Maps, as well as Repeater fields. Images and galleries can come from your computer, another server, or another external location. Files can also be downloaded from external sites, including sites protected by HTTP authentication.

WP All Import can split large imports into chunks, allowing practically unlimited file sizes subject to your server options. You can also pass imported values through custom PHP functions in the import template.

Run an import or schedule updates

Start with a CSV, Excel, or XML file, select the WordPress content type, and map its values to ACF fields. Configure picture or custom-function handling as needed, preview the result, and execute the import. This process can populate hundreds or thousands of posts without entering each custom field value manually.

For recurring imports, WP All Import Pro can check a file on a schedule and add, edit, delete, or update custom post types. The Pro setup described includes access to premium technical support.
