Connect user ratings with content and results

FeedbackWP Premium extends the rating functionality of the Rate My Post add-on for WordPress. Visitors can rate posts, pages, or other content and then leave private feedback. Rating and result widgets can be placed automatically or with shortcodes.

The Premium edition also supports custom post types, standalone rating widgets, and ratings on existing posts that have no votes. Standalone rating widgets can work independently of posts and pages, while the other settings apply to existing content.

Choose rating and result components

• Rating widget: Collect ratings with Stars, Thumbs, Hearts, Smileys, or Trophies.
• Results widget: Display the rating result for a post or page.
• Feedback widget: Collect private feedback after a visitor rates content.
• Social widget: Add the included social component.
• Top rated posts widget: Display content with the highest ratings.

Rating and feedback result widgets support custom post types. Custom rating widgets can also work independently of posts and pages. Use [ratemypost] for a rating widget and [ratemypost-result] for a results widget. Both shortcodes can accept a post ID to display a particular post's rating or result.

Set placement and appearance

Settings can place rating widgets on all posts or pages, with exclusions for selected content such as an About Us page. You can also insert widgets where needed with shortcodes. Change text and colors in the options, or use custom templates for further customization.

The add-on includes statistics for vote totals and average ratings. Its analytics section can show rating time, username, title, and time spent on the page before rating; recording an IP address is optional. Ratings can also be changed in the administration panel.

Configure schema for each post

An advanced schema selector in the post editor lets you choose a schema type for each post. Structured data can be configured for rating information and rich snippets. Selection of a schema type does not guarantee that a search engine will display a rich result.

Use with dynamic layouts

FeedbackWP Premium supports infinite scroll add-ons and popups. Integrating rating shows into those layouts may require implementation work.

Install and configure

Add and activate the plugin on your WordPress website, then configure rating, result, feedback, schema, and display settings. Choose automatic placement or insert the available shortcodes where the widgets should appear.
